The F.A.S.T. Reading Program Workshop

Deliver Dramatic Gains in Reading and Improve Student Outcomes

Attend a F.A.S.T. Reading Program Workshop to learn how to systematically teach reading to even your toughest-to-teach students. Workshop attendees will leave empowered and ready to teach reading in a fun, flexible, fast-paced approach that’s highly effective. Your students will quickly gain access to the code and then rapidly move onto reading at grade level and beyond.

Opportunities for Differentiated Instruction

The F.A.S.T. Reading Program offers opportunities for differentiated instruction through multiple entry points. Diagnostic testing determine each student’s start in the Program, so teachers can tailor lesson plans accordingly. Ongoing assessments determine a student’s progress, including when he or she can move onto the next level.

Ongoing Support to Ensure Successful Implementation

After the initial four-day training, F.A.S.T. Learning ensures successful implementation by providing follow-up support that includes:

  • classroom observations, with both written and verbal feedback
  • coaching, both in person and online
  • Webcasts that review major instructional concepts
  • SMART Board applications

In addition, F.A.S.T. Learning helps schools build learning communities, so there is ample opportunity for collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of the program.

Attendees earn 2.0 Continuing Education Credits from Adams State College.
