The F.A.S.T. Reading Program Workshop
Attend a F.A.S.T. Reading Program Workshop to learn how to systematically teach reading to even your toughest-to-teach students. Workshop attendees will leave empowered and ready to teach reading in a fun, flexible, fast-paced approach that’s highly effective. Your students will quickly gain access to the code and then rapidly move onto reading at grade level and beyond.
First Steps Workshop
Grounded in research-based methods and best practices, the First Steps Workshop prepares teachers to build their students' early reading and writing skills. Attendees will also learn practical methods to help their students apply these newly acquired skills to actual reading, with the fully decodable First Steps storybooks.
F.A.S.T. Spelling Workshop
In this half-day session, you will learn how to seamlessly incorporate systematic, direct spelling instruction into your daily lesson plans. You will explore word structure and meaning, as well as learn how to teach spelling patterns and concepts, so your students can become confident, competent spellers.
Homerun Handwriting Workshop
Attend the half-day Homerun Handwriting Workshop to learn how to teach your students to write the traditional manuscript alphabet. Letters are organized by beginning strokes into four, highly engaging baseball categories, which your students will love. Just as importantly, the training you will receive in the Homerun Handwriting Workshop is correlated to F.A.S.T. Learning’s reading and spelling programs.
