The chief objective of this evaluation was to determine the extent to which the F.A.S.T. Reading System, a reading intervention program, has accelerated the performance of struggling readers in grades 2 through 8. It includes longitudinal analyses of students enrolled in four different schools (Mission Avenue Elementary School in Albuquerque, NM; Wyatt-Edison Elementary and Middle School in Denver, CO; Creekside Elementary School in Centennial, CO; and Manzano Day School in Albuquerque, NM) during the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 school years.
