About F.A.S.T. Learning

F.A.S.T. Learning, an educational publishing company, was launched in 1998 at the Denver Academy, a private K-12 that is recognized nationally as a center of excellence for students with learning differences.

Used in classrooms nationwide, F.A.S.T. Learning’s literacy programs are aligned to the Common Core Standards and incorporate research-based methods and best practices. Just as importantly, given the deep education backgrounds of all its product developers, F.A.S.T. Learning creates programs that are practical, engaging, and highly effective. Teachers consistently deliver dramatic, measurable gains in reading and spelling when teaching with F.A.S.T. Learning's programs.

F.A.S.T. is an acronym for Foundations of Analysis, Synthesis, and Translation, three actions required by the brain during reading. It is also a reference to how quickly kids' motivation and confidence in reading increase when taught to read with the F.A.S.T. method.

In 2002, F.A.S.T. Learning became a limited liability company and has since been officially known as F.A.S.T. Learning, LLC. That same year, a board of directors, whose members include local business and community leaders, was appointed.
